Belgravia I

This was a 2005 project designed in the 'Prairie Style' to meet an architectural control requirement. The front walls carry a large ratio of glass but are shaded by large overhangs which help cool the house in the warm months. The exterior is acrylic stucco and real stone, with cedar soffits at the lower levels. The house and garage are connected by a hallway and these form a protected patio space into which a wood burning stainless steel fireplace was installed. The interiors are simple, but enriched with the use of walnut, maple, and polished concrete.
